The Hawkmoths is our Middle School garden club!
We make and conserve habitat for butterflies and pollinators, learn about native plants and gardening techniques, and actively beautify our school grounds. Come join us to learn about nature and have a great time being out in it!

Milkweed is the only host plant for monarch caterpillars, meaning a monarch will not lay its eggs on any other plant, and the caterpillars will eat nothing else. These plants are being killed all over the US as more Round-up Ready corn is planted and houses, commercial centers and roads are put in. It's up to us as gardeners and homeowners and small farmers to keep these plants growing for monarchs.
